Just embrace it, boys

The White Sox are a home run hitting team. When hit the long ball, for whatever reason, they can do more with the bat.

Tonight, three solo home runs off the bats of Alejandro De Aza (on the 2nd pitch of the game), Gordon Beckham (in the 6th to tie the game 2-2), and Alex Rios (in the 7th) were enough to take care of the Kansas City Royals.

Gavin Floyd also pitched very well in the 3-2 win. Floyd went 7 innings giving up two first inning runs and just five hits.

A good win for the Sox as they will square off Bruce (Cy) Chen tomorrow night and because the Tigers pounded the Oakland A's to stay 3 games behind our Sox.

The win puts the Sox at 81-66 on the year and reduces their magic number to 13.
